Þjóðarspegillinn XIX: Conference in Social Sciences, will be held at the University of Iceland on the 26th of October 2018. The conference is an annual research conference that aims to introduce and share interesting research material from a broad spectrum within the Social Sciences in Iceland.
This year's programme is now available. Speakers include a number of Hólar staff, but we would specifically like to draw attention to Jessica Faustini Aquino's, Georgette Leah Burns' and Sandra Magdalena Granquist's presentation on developing a framework for responsible wildlife tourism. The session is titled Responsible Tourism in Arctic Seascapes and will be held in Askja, room 129, between 12:00 and 14:00.
Open to the public, no entrance fee, all welcome.
